The Avenger structure is entirely constructed from wood, with a low wing braced to the landing gear. The wooden-framed wing is covered with aircraft fabric. The engine cowling is fibreglass. The conventional landing gear features a steerable tailwheel and main-gear suspension. This Avenger took me an estimated 800 hours of construction time from the kit.

It had an (unreliable) 45 HP Zenoah motor. I put 143 hours on this aircraft.  I made 369 landing – and 366 were intentional!
